Arrival Policy for Day students

Entry into school is through the main gate manned by security personnel. The teachers on duty are available to screen students and admit them into the school premises from 7.30 am Monday to Friday. Any student that arrives before 7.30 am will be allowed to sit within the playground premises and be supervised by trained staff members

Departure Policy for Day students

Day students are allowed to leave the premises from 2:45 pm, under a supervised arrangement. Parents/Guardians are allowed to sign before students are released during and after school hours.

Parents are allowed to call or send messages to the school for any other arrangement different from the above.

In the event of a person arriving at school to collect a child that has not been planned (it is unforeseen or in an emergency), the following steps must be taken. Firstly, the person must be asked to wait outside or be accompanied by a member of staff to the school office. The person will be asked to confirm which child/children they are requesting to collect, give their full name and show some other form of identification. A member of the office staff will call the parent/guidance to confirm the arrangements before handing over the children.

Child Protection Policy

We make every effort to provide an environment in which students feel safe, secure, valued and respected, to talk confidently if they are worried. The school provides listening ears and an open-door policy that enables student’s to speak out on all issues. We promote a caring, safe and positive environment within the school.

Kindly inform the school of any infringement to student’s safety as regards the following: Bullying, child sexual exploitation, forced marriage, honour-based abuse, Domestic abuse, Racist incidents, online safety/Cybercrime Allegations of abuse, Sharing nudes and semi nudes
